Message from the Cheer Advisor
Hello and welcome to the 2011 Clovis North Bronco Youth
Cheer season. My name is Tina Torres. I am the Bronco Youth Cheer Advisor
and Coach.
About Me:
My Cheer career started at West Park Elementary School
and continued at Washington Union High School. I also assisted in launching
the first 2 seasons of the San Joaquin Memorial Youth Cheer Program.
About our program:
I am so excited to kick off the first year of the
Bronco Youth Cheer Program. The Cheer Program will be comprised of three
teams:
Mighty Mites - Grades 1st & 2nd
Pee Wees - Grades 3rd & 4th
Juniors - Grades 5th & 6th
What I expect from Cheerleaders:
I expect you to be at practice and games on time and
ready to work hard and have fun. I expect you to treat yourself and others
with respect. You should be courteous, responsible, and a team player. Once
you become a Bronco Cheerleader you are representing, not only yourself, but
your team and our program. Your exemplary behavior should be displayed at
all times. This means at practices, games, and in your daily life. In
addition, you are expected to maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.
What I expect from Parents:
I expect you to be respectful to myself, the
cheer-staff, and Cheerleaders. I expect you to allow all practices and games
to be free from any interruptions. I expect you to actively participate in
fund raising and other Cheer related activities and events. I expect you to
feel free to call or email me with questions or concerns. Lastly, I expect
you to be patient and understanding as we iron out the wrinkles of our first
year program.
Cheerleading is so much fun but it’s also a lot of hard
work. My goal is to teach your child how to be the best Cheerleader they can
be. Although the cheer program is new, my knowledge and experience in
running a Cheer Program is not. The Cheer Program is directly associated
with the Bronco Youth Football Program. The owner and director is my
brother, Bruno Ruacho. This is a family run and family oriented program. We
look forward to working with you. Together we can make this a fun and
memorable season.
